This is for you, Bettina. You better link me up if you want me to keep writing.
So I get this weird message yesterday from a woman named Ellen. "Hello, Heather? This is Ellen from Dr. Wexler's office (famous NYC dermatologist). You were referred by Phyllis Posnick at Vogue. The Dr. wants to know if you can be at her hotel to do her hair. Call me at xxx"
No mention of which hotel, which CITY, or when. But I do like that I'm still on the radar at Vogue, and that an editor there hands out my cell phone number.
Spring semester is off to a bang up start. I forgot that I can't edit papers on the main floor library computers and so turned in an assignment late. Yes, I had to turn in a paper already. Classes started Tuesday. Then I neglected to check my school email account and didn't get a reading assignment (the first 2 acts of Two Gentlemen of Verona) that was for today. I can't get the workbook I need for my Italian class because they sold them all to last semester's students and the publisher is out, but my Professoressa is going to email someone that isn't taking the class this semester to see if I can have hers.
At least I'm still "working" in the Philosophy Department at GW, which should provide me with plenty of time to write for you all. Please enjoy.
