for Tanny

Tanny says I should post more, so here you go.

Uh, we went to the Auto Show at the convention center on Saturday. Have you seen the Ford Interceptor? It was the most interesting car there, I think. That is not to say there were not loads of interesting cars, but most of them were the same thing again, just updated (and the new car colors coming out are *ugly*).
Under the hood is a 400 horsepower 5.0-liter V-8 Cammer engine, capable of running on E-85 ethanol. Overall length is 201.6 inches, while wheelbase is 120.8 inches. The car features a number of safety features, including four-point seat-belts and inflatable rear belts. It rides on 22-inch wheels and a solid rear axle.

That's exciting. Karen, tell the kids in the auto design program that I like this car very much. I don't actually see myself wanting to drive it, but I will be happy when I see it on the street.

I sat in a very very comfortable Jaguar (Jag-yoo-ar) convertible and wouldn't have gotten out ever except that other people with hot beverages wanted in. It was like sitting in a bubble bath. But I still love the Mini best.

There were also Marvel Comics characters beating each other up (Brooke, we were hoping you were going to show up!) and a HUGE line to see some Nascar driver. I don't get Nascar. That 16 year old driver was there signing autographs and looking singularly awkward.

We didn't win a new car, I guess. Shouldn't we have heard by now? And as per Miss Tanya's request, here is a terrible photo of me in the new again Camaro. I hate Camaros, but I can't resist a cheesy photo!

This color is called Bronson Blue, yes, after Charles Bronson. From this article:

Hooray, you posted! I love the pic, but I still say it should have been named after Chuck Norris.
